God and Man as one
Plunged, amid the world’s lostness,
Walking in the world He made:

A Man of Sorrows
Constrained from shining His blinding glory,
Knowing unrequited love
And acquainted with grief:

Longing to reach the heart of Man;
Remembering Moses and David;
Looking upward to the Sky;
Looking beyond,
To Heaven;

Walking

In the world He made.

Longing.
