SON OF MAN

Behold:
God and Man as One
Plunged in the World’s lostness and sin.
Knowing unrequited Love
Weary, and acquainted with grief:
Watching evil battling Good
Longing for His LOVE to be known.

Behold:
A man of sorrows
Walking in the World He made
Constrained from shining His Glory
Looking upward to Sky and Heaven
Longing for His LOVE to be known everywhere.

Long ago in ancient times
Moses, Your Prophet asked of You,
“Who shall I say that You are?”

You answered saying,
“Tell them I AM THAT I AM,
I AM THAT I AM.”

Today, now, we respond,
YOU ARE! YES! YOU ARE!
You, our Saviour, You our Redeemer:

Glory and honor, praise and thanksgiving:
YOU ARE! YES! YOU ARE!
You our Redeemer, You our Savior:

Thanksgiving and glory, honor and praise:
YOU ARE! YES! YOU ARE!
