SHOES

There once was a man, the story goes,
who walked in shoes two sizes
too small for him.

When asked, “Why in the world
do you do this?” he replied,
“Because, at night, when you finally take them off
it’s wonderful!”

We walked in shoes too small for us
and didn’t even realize it;
until we came to TRUTH bright shining
and recognized our suffering feet
were prisoners! Off went those shoes!

Now:
Welcoming Truth.
Learning God’s heart.
Seeking His Wisdom.
Finding how to serve the Shepherd.
Praising Him forevermore.
