For S.C.

Out of the dust by the hand of God came Man:
Out of history, sweat and blood, came Man again:
          The foolish battering the wise
Listening to voices other than God
In mortal struggle twixt evil and Good.

Out of technology Mammon and pride
Out of history: genius and foolish at war
Comes Man’s mortal power inviting destruction,
Comes Man, once again obscuring the voice of God.

Out of the Heavens, whence comes the long LOVE of Mankind:
Our Creator, viewing this Man-made plight,
Earnestly trumps in His Glory and Light:

“Behold: I make all things New!”

Hallelujah, Amen!

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away (Revelation 21:1)

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. (Revelation 21:4-5)
